Arabic-First Couples Wellness App — Naqaa is a bilingual (AR/EN) mobile app built for MENA couples, helping partners stay connected through shared activities, mood tracking, moments, and wellness insights. Arabic is the default language with full RTL support throughout. Currently in TestFlight testing ahead of launch.

  • 🏠 Home Dashboard: Shared weekly summary, partner activity feed, and daily check-ins
  • ❤️ Moments: Capture and relive shared memories with photos and notes
  • 📊 Wellness Reports: Weekly/monthly/quarterly relationship quality scores with breakdowns
  • 🧠 Know Me: Personality assessments that help partners understand each other better
  • ✅ Activities: Curated couple activities with location-based place suggestions
  • 💬 Partner Communication: In-app messaging with real-time push notifications

🏗️ Technical Highlights:
  • RTL-First Architecture: 88 i18n namespaces with Arabic/English parity enforced by 25 custom ESLint rules
  • Backend: Supabase (Postgres, Edge Functions, Auth, Storage) with row-level security
  • Offline-First: TanStack Query v5 with persistence for seamless offline experience
  • E2E Testing: Maestro with 28 automated flow files covering critical user journeys
  • Security: Phone OTP auth only, rate-limited account deletion
  • Analytics: PostHog + Sentry error tracking in production

My Role

Lead Mobile Developer
Sole developer across the full stack — React Native frontend, Supabase backend, and EAS CI/CD pipeline:
  • 📱 React Native: Built 20+ screens with Expo Router file-based navigation and Reanimated 4 animations
  • 🌐 i18n Architecture: Designed and implemented 88-namespace bilingual system with custom lint enforcement
  • 🗄️ Backend: Supabase schema design, row-level security policies, Edge Functions for server logic
  • 💳 Payments: In-app purchases with server-side receipt validation
